Verification of Competency
Verification of Competency (VOC) with P.A.S.S.
Ensuring your workforce's continued competency and safety is crucial in maintaining a compliant and efficient work environment. At P.A.S.S., we provide comprehensive Verification of Competency (VOC) services tailored to meet industry standards and specific site requirements.
The Importance of VOC
In Australia, employers must provide “suitable and adequate” training to protect employees' health and safety at work. While initial training through the VET system ensures that trainees meet a benchmark standard, skills can degrade over time if not regularly applied. Regular VOC assessments help ensure that workers maintain their competency and can perform their roles safely and effectively.
Employers have a Duty of Care to ensure that all machine operators under their responsibility have not only undertaken initial training and, where appropriate, hold the relevant Unit of Competency but also receive refresher training and are deemed competent to operate the machine they are driving.
P.A.S.S VOC Services
Our VOC services are designed to be thorough, align with national standards and tailored to your specific industry needs. We ensure that our VOC assessments are as rigorous as the original training, guaranteeing that your workforce remains competent and confident.
